Santa

Tough day for Payton. Went to see Santa Claus. Stood in line for about an hour. It went faster than I thought and Payton wasn't as hard to entertain as I thought. She DID NOT like Santa though. Of course, I left her on his lap for what she probably thought was eternity so I could get some pictures. In one of the pictures, it looks like Rory was trying to hold her hand to comfort her. Maybe next year....

More cute Rory-isms

I was lying in bed with Rory getting ready for bed the other night. Sammy was watching tv, so we could hear the tv. A geico commercial came on and she stops talking so she can hear it and says "I love this commercial." Then she says, "A talking lizard, is that so funny. I wonder if God messed up and put a person's heart inside him."

Teravista Festival

The neighborhood had a big Fall Festival on Saturday. Rory has been talking about wanting to ride a horse and they were having pony rides, so we were definitely going. Rory got a ride a pony and then a small horse. We rode a small little train and a hayride. Rory is into getting her face painting, so of course that was on her list too!

Rory's cooking class

Rory took a cooking class after school on Thursdays. It was taught by one of the preschool teachers, Miss Alyson. Rory loved it.

Trick or Treat

We went trick or treating with Colton and gang. Rory had a great time. Payton joined us for a little bit and even got some candy. We dropped her off with Sammy at home to hand out candy. When we got home she had eaten the whole Tootsie Roll pop and was very sticky!! Rory handed out the rest of our candy with Sammy.
