Happy Father's Day

Rory wouldn't tell Sammy Happy Father's Day today. She said she would do it when she was ready. We reminded her one last time before she went to bed...still nothing. A few minutes later she yelled from her room, "Happy Birthday, Daddy!"

Wishing on a Star

Rory has been wishing on stars at night. Tonight we were driving home from HEB and she asked, "Mom can you rolled down the window so I can wish on a star?" She said she wished for lots of little boys and girls and toy story toys to have for friends. She's so cute!

First Family Trip on Lake Georgetown

I haven't been on the boat since last July--big and pregnant. We had been waiting to go until we found a good life jacket for Payton and for it to get a little warmer to swim. Well, summer is definitely here, so we made our first trip out to the lake, all four of us. It was a nice day. Payton didn't love her life jacket. I think it will be better for her once she get a little taller. It completely surrounds her chin and kinda pushes up on it and then there is a part behind her head too. Once we got out to swim, she was thrilled. Rory loves swimming in the lake. Payton was in this great float, Deanna let us borrow. She loved it!! We swam for a little bit and then we got back in the boat...for snack time. Payton love Cheese Puffs. Sammy fished for a little bit and then Rory 'drove' us back to the boat dock. It was a really peaceful, relaxing day.

Payton loves her sister

I was taking some pictures of the bow I made for Payton...Rory was trying entertain her for me and get smiles. She was shaking a tictac box. Payton thought it was great! She was trying to give Rory a kiss. Rory was the first one who Payton would give kisses to!

Barbies!

Rory is really into playing Barbies. Here are some pictures of the girls playing the other night in the toy room. She let Payton play with the clothes while she was playing with the dolls. She likes to take the clothes off the Barbies and have them naked. She said something about them having a "naked party". Told her that that wasn't good idea....

Payton wants "more" to eat....

She loves to eat! So she definitely fits in this family. She ate lots of black beans last night...that is why her face is all black. She had been grunting/yelling most of dinner and I think that was how she want communicating more. Trying to encourage quiet communication! She doing pretty good with her sign language. There are time she busts out every sign she knows trying to communicate--she's getting there.

Children's Museum

We went to Austin's Children Museum yesterday with Uncle Kyle and Colton. Rory spent the majority of her time in the play kitchen. I kept having to ask her if she wanted to go look at other things. She was having a good old time "cooking" and serving Uncle Kyle.

Payton even got to play in the baby area. She loved the freedom to crawl around.
