We had some beautiful weather on Wednesday! It seemed like finally the sun was out. Took the girls to the park. The neighborhood has several playgrounds throughout. The main playground by the pool, which Rory has been calling the red one, they were repaving the parking lot, so we decided to stay away from the fumes. So we ended up at this little playground. It has a slides and baby swings and a sidewalk that makes a circle around it. Rory is starting to be really confident on the playgrounds. She has always been timid and not a very physical kid. (Maybe I have steered her that way, because I am a chicken too). She played a little bit on the slide and then two little boys came up with their grandmother. Rory asked the older boy, 4, if he wanted to race. So they took off running. This boy was FAST, Rory is slow, and I think her shoes are too small, but she has insisted that she wear them. She was getting mad because the boy kept winning. She would say she won, but then he would dispute her. She was MAD and said he was being mean. But he really was winning.
