What time is it?

What time is?  What time is it?  The question Payton asked at least 10 times a day.  She loves 8:30.  Who knows why.  She seems sad when she missed 8:30.  Aww, I missed 8:30.  8:30 is her favorite number.

Payton's shoes

She has some green/teal plaid patterned shoes.  She wore them to school one day and she said that Jake didn't like them.  Today she wore pink tennis shoes.  She told me when I picked her up from school that Jake liked her shoes!  "He thought they were awesome."  I asked Jake from Ms. Debra's class?  "No, Jake from the playground."  I guess we should respect Jake's fashion sense.

This weekend Sammy took the girls to Will's birthday party.  When she came home, she told me that there were some boys at the party and they hurt her feelings, she said, "they called me a nerd!  But Rory was there for me, she is the best sister ever!"

Payton's 1st day 3yr old class

Today was Payton's first day in Ms. Stephanie's class.  She will be going 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.  She was very excited to go to school today.  Helped make her own peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  No tears at drop off and nicely waved at me as I left.  Ms. Stephanie said she did great and even helped make sure everyone was behaving.  She went to ballet class that they have at school right after and was happy all day.  When asked what grade Rory was in now, she said High School.

Payton's new bed and big girl room

We moved Payton's room to over by Rory's, it was already pink, so saved us a paint job.  Nanny and Papa brought up my old bed with new mattresses--Payton has a new bed!  She is very proud of it and slept very willingly in there with no problems!  She and Rory now like hanging out in there.  Another fun place to play.  Rory had to have a picture in her bed too!

Rory had her last day of swimming today.  Here is what she had to show off.  She and Colton were the youngest in their class.  They did a very good job!!

Payton fell asleep in my arms the other day. Not sure if that will ever happen again. She is growing up! Both these girls!!

Canoeing on Colorado

Sammy found this place in Webberville, about 45 min southeast from us, where you can do a 5 mile paddle down the Colorado river. We went today. He did most of the paddling, of course. Payton helped out at the end. While Princess Rory slept. We got a late start in the afternoon, so didn't spend a whole lot of time swimming, fearful we wouldn't finish in time. The girls loved it. The water felt good, a little cool, but it was sunny and warm.

Fairy Princess Jillian's Bday Party

Christina and I have worked together since before we were both married and then daughters #1 and daughters #2. Rory and Jillian say they are BFFs. Piper is just a couple month younger than Payton. Jillian invited both girls to her birthday party, where they got to dress up as fairies, nails done, makeup and a fashion show.

You're a piece of plant!

Cleaning the bathroom today and I hear Payton yelling at Bogey. He's laying on my bed doing nothing that I can see as wrong. She's pointing a flashlight at him yelling, "You're a piece of plant, do you hear me?" So we're thinking she has heard Daddy talking and luckily got the plant part wrong. Hmmm....

Uncle Kyle runs a marathon

Kyle ran the Austin Livestrong Marathon this morning. Rory and I went to see him. We caught him at mile 22 and then saw him again at the finish.

Valentine's party

Payton and I went up to school for Rory's Valentine time party. Rory was a great big sister and let Payton sit with her at her table. She also made sure that she had a cupcake and helped her decorate it. Lots of sugar and fun! Went to the park after with Colton to burn it off!!
